The APSAT 2023 is the 19th ASSI’s consecutive annual international conference series on the satellite communication aspect and it is a remarkable annual event in Indonesia and it is being acknowledged, recognized and endorsed by telecommunication international societies, professionals and government institutions. ASSI (Asosiasi Satelit Indonesia) or (the Indonesian Satellite Association) is an inclusive non-profit organization, based in Bandung, established in 1998, to promote and encourage the satellite industry, including the satellite community development in Indonesia, through national-international multi discipline collaboration; and to address wide range satellite related issues.

Kanaka Hidayat

Kanaka Hidayat is presently a Senior Consultant for BAKTI, an institution under Ministry of ICT to provide rural telecommunication service. Present project includes SATRIA satellite and its backup satellite, HBS.
Kanaka Hidayat’s career in telecommunication started in 1985 in an aggressive technology company: Research and Data Systems Corporation in Maryland, USA which lead him to INTELSAT, as an Engineer in Washington DC, USA, developing its Ground Network.

1997-2000 : Vice President of Satellite Operation in Satelindo. For Palapa-C Operation;
2001-2002 : DIrector of Sales of Marketing in SpeedCast (HongKong),
2003 : Account Manager and in 2005 Account Director for Motorola Indonesia
Other positions : Business Development Director BBSI (Broadcast & Broadband Service) a subsidiary of ABS (Asia Broadcast Satellite). Managing Director of Rumah Teknologi, Managing Director in Intelex Group, General Manager of Paktel VSAT, Consultant for BRI Satellite. Lukman Hakim Abd. Rauf

Lukman Hakim Abd Rauf was appointed as CEO of TELKOMSAT based on the result of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Share holder in April 2022.

He is a former Executive General Manager of Digital Infrastructure Development and Executive General Manager Service Operation of PT Telkom Indonesia.

He was the chairman of the Indonesian Sea Cable Communication System Association (ASKALSI) and a member of Professions Council and the Association of Indonesian Telecommunications Society(MASTEL).

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering also completed a Master of Electrical Engineering Telkom University, Bandung.

Agus Budi Tjahjono

Indonesian citizen, aged 52, born in Banyumas on 4 August 1970.

He earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Gadjah Mada University (1995) and Master of Business Administration, majoring in Strategic Management, from Prasetiya Mulya Business School (2009).

He has been serving as PSN Director since 2009. Previously, he was trusted to hold various positions in PSN, such as Assistant Vice President, Head of Marketing Division in Fixed Satellite System Directorate (2006), Assistant Vice President, Head of Sales & Project Development (2005), Assistant Vice President, Head of Corporate & Government Sales (2004) Assistant Vice President, Head of Sales Division (2003), and Senior Manager, Head of Strategic Business Unit Data Communication Network (2002).

Sulaiman Al Ali

Sulaiman Al Ali is the Chief Commercial Officer of Al Yah Satellite Communications Company P. J. S. C. (Yahsat). In this role, he leads Yahsat’s mobility business, Thuraya and its data solutions arm, YahClick. Sulaiman drives the expansion of Yahsat’s commercial business by leveraging the combined strengths of its fixed and mobility technology platforms, services and capabilities to deliver greater value and innovation for customers across the globe. Sulaiman joined Yahsat in 2014 as the Director of Yahsat Government Solutions – Commercial, responsible for delivering managed, end-to-end satcom solutions for government customers. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, working in the regional and global sectors across the UAE, Nigeria, Pakistan and Ivory Coast.

Sulaiman holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD Business School, France. He also has a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership Management from Hamdan Bin Mohamed Smart University and a BS in Communication Engineering from Khalifa University.

Harsh Verma

Harsh Verma leads the sales and business development efforts of SES’s Networks business across the Asia region. Harsh has been with SES (earlier O3b Networks) for 10 years.

Harsh has vast experience in the satellite industry ranging from operations, sales engineering, product strategy and sales. He is an engineering graduate with master’s in international business. Prior to SES networks, Harsh has had extensive experience working with leading OEMs and service providers in the satellite industry in the Asia Pacific region notably with Hughes Network System (APAC and India operations) and PCCW.

Keishi Hoshiba

Keishi Hoshiba is Chief Representative of Jakarta Office at SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (SJC), the leading satellite operator in the Asia-Pacific region with a fleet 16 satellite. He joined the company in 2008 and has been in satellite industry for over 15 years. He has been working as sales & marketing representative in Asia Pacific region for about 10 years.

Zhang Yu (Albert)

Zhang Yu (Albert) is Vice GM of Marketing & Sales in CHINA SATCOM. Based in Beijing with 16 years experience in satellite field, he has background as Orbit Engineer and now in position as International Business Head to achieve business landing in 40 countries.

Mr. Zhang holds a Bachelor Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA), and his Master Degree in Electric Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.

Jasper Tan

Jasper Tan, the Vice President of APT Satellite, is a highly accomplished professional with extensive expertise in satcom operations. With over two decades of experience leading sales teams, he consistently surpasses customer expectations, deeply recognising and valuing the trust bestowed upon him and his company by esteemed customers. His background in construction in Hong Kong instilled in him a profound understanding of discipline and team-building. Leveraging this invaluable background, Jasper cultivates a powerful and efficient team, ensuring ongoing growth and success for APT Satellite. Beyond his work, Jasper finds a harmonious work-life balance through activities such as tennis, yachting, and golf.

SESSION 2A

Eddie Kato

As President and Managing Director of Astroscale Japan in Tokyo, Japan, Eddie heads the company’s 150+ people and rapidly growing On-Orbit Servicing business.
Eddie is a known industry veteran. He has accumulated various positions in the space industry. He started his career at Mitsubishi Electric, and then moved to the USA to work at General Electric and its successor, Lockheed Martin. He then worked at Orbital Sciences and also at Thales. Most recently, before entering into Astroscale, Eddie built and ran his own strategic advisory firm, HISe, Inc. for 8 years.
Eddie graduated from Yokohama City University of Japan, majoring in International Relations. He is serving as Board of Director at Asia Pacific Communications Council (APSCC).

Joe Bogosian

Joe Bogosian is vice president of Business Development, for Boeing Satellite Systems International (BSSI). In this role, he leads a team working with customers worldwide to provide satellite connectivity solutions, and ensures alignment of Boeing’s capabilities with market needs. Since joining Boeing in 2008, he has held roles in systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and satellite operations. He most recently served as senior manager for business development in Boeing Phantom Works Space Systems, developing solutions for emerging small satellite missions and working in collaboration with Boeing subsidiary Millennium Space Systems.

Mr. Gurvinder Chohan

Mr. Gurvinder Chohan (B. Eng., MBA, M.sc (law)) has over 25 years of in Aerospace and defense sector. He is the founder and CEO of QSTC Inc (formerly AQSTC Space group USA). QSTC is one of the leading companies providing space solutions in area of Quantum, smart satellite platforms and remote sensing solution. Head office in Montreal, Canada and has offices in USA, UK, Switzerland and Indonesia. QSTC has developed small GEO bus with Ka , Ku , V/Q and E Band transponders with high speed (optical) connectivity. QSTC is part of the team developing Crewed Lunar Vehicle for NASA where QSTC is responsible for locomotive, communication and robotics.
Previously, he was working as Senior Director of Business development for, Responsible for business development for the whole of Asia, Pacific and East Europe market covering GEO/LEO communication, EO, scientific missions, antennas, sub- systems, defense products (coastal surveillance etc.).

Vivian Quenet

Vivian Quenet is the Managing Director of Arianespace Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore.

Prior to assuming his role, he was Vice President and Managing Director Asia-Pacific for maritime satellite communications provider KVH Industries PTE LTD.
Quenet previously served as the Asia-Pacific Chief Representative and Sales Director for mobile satellite communications provider Marlink in Europe and then in Asia.

Ben Bonham

Ben Bonham is a Senior Vice President in the Marsh London Space team. Ben has an engineering background by education and over 14 years of dedicated space insurance experience, providing bespoke risk management and insurance broking services to a global client base. Ben has worked with clients ranging from global GEO communication fleet operators to smallsat startups and everything in between.

SESSION 3

Virgil Labrador

Virgil Labrador is the Editor-in-Chief of Los Angeles, California-based Satellite Markets and Research which publishes a web portal on the satellite industry www.satellitemarkets.com, the monthly Satellite Executive Briefing magazine and occasional industry reports called MarketBriefs. Virgil is one of the few trade journalists who has a proven track record working in the commercial satellite industry. He worked as a senior executive for a teleport in Singapore, the Asia Broadcast Center, then-owned by the US broadcasting company CBS. He has co-authored two books on the history of satellite communications and satellite technology. His articles have appeared in numerous publications including the Encyclopaedia Britannica. Vincent LEE

Mr. Lee has been in the satellite industry for 30 years and been involved in many large and complex earth station initiatives. In his role for Kratos, Mr. Lee is focused on delivering technological innovations and improvements to the ground segment for satellite operators and network providers in the region. He has 15 years of experience working for a regional systems integrator delivering earth stations to satellite operators, broadcasters and government agencies in Asia. Mr. Lee also worked for 6 years with the distributior of Comtech EF Data and GD Satcom supplying satellite modems, high power SSPA and large antennas in the APAC region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the National Univerity of Singapore.

HIMANSHU AGARWAL

Himanshu Agarwal leads enterprise sales and business development for Hughes technologies and solutions across Southeast Asia. A telecommunications and satellite professional with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Agarwal works closely with business and government leaders to deliver satellite solutions to help connect the unconnected. Prior to joining Hughes, Mr. Agarwal was regional sales head at Oracle, where he led sales and business development for strategic accounts. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility at companies such as Airtel, Alcatel-Lucent, Huawei and Nokia- Siemens. Mr. Agarwal earned a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from Shivaji University in Kolhapur, Maharashtra.

ALVARO SANCHEZ

Alvaro Sanchez is Integrasys CEO, Marquess of Antella (Noble Title 1649), Alvaro is Software and Industrial engineer by European University and a master’s degree in business by ESIC Business School. On 2022 he was considered one of the “20 under 35” young space and satellite professionals by the SSPI.
Alvaro during the last 10 years has worked at Integrasys as Management, Sales Executive roles where he was very successful growing the sales, revenue, profit, and responsibilities within the company; and previous to that he was working at CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research as an RF Engineer, measuring timing in a Nanosecond Synchronization for measuring the Neutrino Speed. Adding to his professional repertoire, in 2021 Alvaro collaborated with IE University to achieve his lifelong goal of helping others. He was professor of “Introduction to Business Management” at the Artificial Intelligence Degree. Recently he is focused on the company expansion, with the latest opening, INTEGRASYS SARL, in Luxembourg.

Aryono

Aryono received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. He continued his study and earned Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in Communication System from University of Southern California, USA, in 1996. He started his professional life in satellite industry in a major satellite service provider in Indonesia as a sales representative. In 2007 he and his family migrated to Singapore and continued his career in satellite industry in sales and business development role for South East and North East Asia. He has more than 20 years of working experience under his belt working for satellite service provider and satellite ground-segment technology companies. His current role in ST Engineering iDirect is Sales Director in charge of Malaysia, Korea and Japan.

Vinod Kaul

Vinod Kaul has 28+ years experience in IT & Telecom industry.
Last 20+ years he has working in Satcom industry at various position of Marketing, Business Developed & Sales. He has been actively working in markets across Asia & prominently involved in development of Satcom market in Asia Region promoting expansion of Communication Infrastructure using Satellite Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from National Institute of Technology, Suratkal India.

Nijas Kuju

Nijas Kunju is Manager of Application Engineering at ANSYS Inc. He specialised in RF, Antennas, Radar, Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and Multiphysics simulation. Nijas has been working with Ansys for the last six years. He provides technical assistance for all RF, Antennas, Radar, 5G and Space applications. He has been interacting with engineers from different industries, including Automotive, Defense, Space and Telecom. Before joining Ansys, he worked as a Research Consultant at GE Global Research in Bangalore on Wireless Power Transfer and Non-Destructive Testing using microwaves.
Nijas did his Master’s degree in Electronics Science and PhD under Prof. P. Mohanan from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin, Kerala. He holds 20+ International publications and 20+ national and international conference publications.

SESSION 4

Dr. Meiditomo Sutyarjoko MSc

Dr. Meiditomo Sutyarjoko is one of few Satellites Industry Expert in Indonesia. He is currently nominated as Asia Pacific Vice Chairman for the ITU’s Council Expert Group and was Indonesia’s candidate for the ITU-R Radio Regulation Board.

He holds Doctorate degree, has more than 33 years of experiences in satellite industry and spectrum management combined with extensive satellite portfolio. He started as satellite systems engineer at Hughes Space and Communication and held various executive positions.

Currently, he provides regulatory and spectrum management advice to Kominfo, provides consultancy to some satellite companies, and teaches at the Graduate School in Telkom University.

R. Sri Sanggrama Aradea

Starting his career in 2010 at BPPPTI, former Indonesia’s USO Fund Management Office, Mr. Aradea was thoroughly active in implementing Indonesia’s USO Programs. As BPPPTI transformed into BAKTI, his works continue and branch out in every infrastructure project in BAKTI. In the past few years, he has been focusing in 4G coverage acceleration program which includes in developing backbone, backhaul, ground segment, and satellite. He was leading the procurement and now an active member of Cooperation between Government and Business Entities Council of SATRIA-1. More to that, he is also focusing on the Hot Backup Satellite project, a project to establish the backup satellite for SATRIA-1. His vision for BAKTI to have satellites that fully dedicated to deliver noncommercial service for Indonesian people will soon become fulfilled once SATRIA-1 is in the orbit in 2023.

Johan Susanto

He has been working with the company since 2001 and currently serves as the Operation Director of PT. Tangara Mitrakom (a subsidiary company of Elang Mahkota Teknologi). He completed his studies at Satya Wacana Christian University, earning a Bachelor of Engineering Telecommunication majoring in Electrical Engineering, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Esa Unggul University. He has expertise and experience including Business Development with Network Service Providers, Media, and Satellite; also Consulting Services at NTT Indonesia.

Edi Sugianto

Edi Sugianto is a person who loves to solve challenges and that is how he tackles the challenges at work and this has put his career on a high-growth trajectory. Having 13 years of experience in Financial Industry, he jumped to Satellite Communication Industry in 2016 to pursue career in Telco. At the age of 36, he was appointed the GM of DTP and within 3 years, was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer.

Doddy Taufik Arief

Doddy Taufiq Arief is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the field of IT, IoT and maritime solutions. As a VP, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. With a strong background in information technology, he has successfully led numerous projects and initiatives, driving innovation and digital transformation. With strategic vision, coupled with leadership skills, has enabled many clients to harness the power of IoT to optimize operations, enhance safety, and improve efficiency. His passion and commitment are for cutting-edge technologies and driving positive change in this dynamic industry.
Projects that have been carried out include heavy equipment monitoring, vessel tracking, fuel management systems and ship service applications at port operators in Indonesia. The solutions provided include hardware solutions, software solutions, infrastructure and connectivity. Especially for IoT solutions, we make the ‘invisible’ asset become ‘visible’.

Sigit Darmawan

Dynamic and accomplished Satellite Vice President with a deep understanding of the space industry. Sigit Darmawan is a strategic leader with a proven track record of success in managing Satellite Service Operation Department complemented by a diverse range of certified. graduated from ITS informatics engineering in 2005 and start his career on BRI in 2006, He has 10 years of experience in software development & 7 years on Satellite Operation. Anggoro K Widiawan

Dr. Anggoro K. Widiawan currently serves Chief Development Officer (CDO) of PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia. He also takes the leadership role in operation for PT Telkom Satelit Indonesia. He leads strategic developments and initiatives within the company.
Prior to the position, Dr. Widiawan was the Head of Telkom 3S project and the Head of Satellite Business & Technology Transformation in PT Telkom Indonesia, Tbk. He holds MSc degree in Satellite Communications Engineering and PhD degree in Wireless Communications, both from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. He has been in satellite industry for about 25 years.

Jassem Nasser

As Chief Business Development Officer of Thuraya, Jassem Nasser heads the strategic, marketing and change management initiatives of Yahsat’s mobility business. Jassem is responsible for Thuraya’s business strategy, business development, product management and marketing activities. He explores and leads new ventures outside Thuraya’s core MSS business through partnerships and alliances. Prior to current role, Jassem led Thuraya’s strategy, marketing and business development streams as Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer. He has more than 20 years of experience in the satellite industry, imparting strategic direction and overseeing functions including business development, corporate planning spectrum and regulatory affairs. Jassem’s engineering background and expertise has been applied to a business environment that specializes in satellite communication technologies and other radio communication systems. He was actively involved in setting up and managing Thuraya as a start-up satellite organization, and was thereafter part of its various stages of development by formulating objectives, priorities and selecting strategic directions and business initiatives. Jassem graduated with first class honours from the UAE’s Khalifa University with a Bachelor’s degree in communications engineering.

David Geiling

David Geiling has worked globally in the satellite industry since 1995. His career has included senior commercial roles at Comsat, PanAmSat, Intelsat and Eutelsat.

Since early 2020, David has headed up Kymeta’s Asia-Pacific business and is based in Singapore.

Kymeta manufacturers the world’s first and only metamaterials-based user terminal, which is also flat panel and sets the industry standard for satellite mobility – both for Geosynchronous and for LEO satellites.

David does pro bono work mentoring Space Tech start-ups in the Asia Pacific region. He graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, is an alumnus of the Defense Language Institute, and speaks several languages.

Dr Denny Setiawan

DENNY SETIAWAN, holds the position of Director of Spectrum Policy and Planning, Ministry of Communications and Informatics since 2018. Since 2020, he also holds the position of Chairman of 5G Taskforce Indonesia.
Since 1995, he has involved in various cooperative relationship which includes satellite and frequency co-ordination, and also international forums. Moreover, he has also been involved in the group on formulating the spectrum policy and planning of 5G, IoT, Satellite, Wireless Broadband and Digital Broadcasting in Indonesia. In international forum, he successfully led the Indonesian Delegation in WRC-19 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, to extend the regulatory period of 3 satellite filings in Indonesia.

Arka Saha

Arka Saha has 18 years’ experience in Satellite Communications . He started his journey as a network engineer in Hughes India .
Then he worked with NDsatcom and Comtech in presales engineering function . Later he lead Sales and Marketing for Adavntech and UHP in South Asia region for several years . He worked almost all major operator in this region . Now he is heading Sales and Business operation for HiSky in APAC region .
Mr Saha holds MS Degree in Electronics from University of Calcutta .

 

Ken Loke

Ken Loke is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the satellite industry. Currently serving as the Vice President for KVH Industries APAC, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role in the maritime satcom industry. Ken has held significant positions at prestigious companies such as SES Americom, where he played a pivotal role in driving growth and strategic initiatives. He has also served as the Senior Vice President at GE Satellite and held executive positions at Eutelsat Asia Pte Ltd as CEO and COO. Ken’s educational background includes an MBA and a Mechanical Engineering Degree.

Virgil Labrador

Virgil Labrador is the Editor-in-Chief of Los Angeles, California-based Satellite Markets and Research which publishes a web portal on the satellite industry www.satellitemarkets.com, the monthly Satellite Executive Briefing magazine and occasional industry reports called MarketBriefs. Virgil is one of the few trade journalists who has a proven track record working in the commercial satellite industry. He worked as a senior executive for a teleport in Singapore, the Asia Broadcast Center, then-owned by the US broadcasting company CBS. He has co-authored two books on the history of satellite communications and satellite technology. His articles have appeared in numerous publications including the Encyclopaedia Britannica. Vincent Lim

Vincent Lim has over 20 years of experience in the satellite and telecommunications industry. He heads up the Asia region market and is responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and business initiatives throughout this region.

Prior to joining ABS, Vincent held various positions within the satellite and telecommunications sector, managing major broadcast accounts such as Globecast, Fox, Disney. Viacom, BBC, Scripps and A+E Networks. He is well versed in the whole value chain of telecommunications and broadcast media.
Vincent holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy from University of Strathclyde and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK.

Dr. Robertus Heru Triharjanto, M.Sc

Born in Bandung on October 22, 1971, Robertus Heru Triharjanto earned his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering major from North Carolina State University, Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, and PhD of Aerospace Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. On March 4, 2022, he was appointed to serve as the Chairman of Research Organization for Aeronautics and Space (ORPA), National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Previously he was designated as Acting Director for Research and Innovation Infrastructure Partnership, BRIN, from October 2021. Before that, he served as Director of Center for Aerospace Policy Studies, National Institute for Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) from September 2018. During his 25 years at LAPAN, he has written 30 national and 25 international papers on computational mechanics, rocket technology, satellite technology, and space technology management, edited 3 books on satellite technology, and has 2 Industrial Designs in micro-satellite. He is a member of International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), and senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Cyril Annarella

Cyril Annarella has over 25 years of experience with senior positions in the wireless, space, and digital security industries. Native from France, he was developed his leadership career in China and South-East Asia. He Co-founded Kacific in 2013, along with two other satellite industry veterans. Cyril wakes up every day knowing that Kacific is closing the digital gap in most populous region of the World, paving the way to a new era of affordable Internet connectivity.
Cyril is currently Chief Operating Officer of Kacific Broadband Satellites Group. He holds an MBA with honours from Chicago-Booth, a dual master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas and from ISAE-SUPAERO (France).

Navin Gopal

Navin is a sci-fi geek who has been lucky to turn his daydreaming about space into a role that imagineers a sustainable space economy, through building innovative in-orbit strategies and business cases. He joined Astroscale in late 2019 and in early 2020 was instrumental in the acquisition of the Israeli on-orbit services company ESS, which has been foundational to the development of Astroscale’s in-space tugging capabilities.
As the Head of Strategy for Astroscale Holdings, he provides thought leadership and guidance to the company’s global strategy development process, market insights, and the management of the company’s LEO and GEO business cases. He also drives the strategy and execution of acquisitions in the company.
Navin started his career in the Malaysian Navy and later transitioned to the communications and media tech industry. He has deep experience in commercial and defence technology having led strategy, consulting and, operations in telecommunications, media, deep learning, C5ISR, and aerospace.
Navin holds a BSc in Economics from the US Naval Academy, Annapolis and an MBA from Cranfield University.

Hajime Zama

Hajime Zama is a Deputy General Manager, Business Development Department, Satellite Business Division of PASCO CORPORATION. He joined the company in 1997. He have experienced in marketing and sales of mapping and GIS services in Japan, residing in Brazil for international project development, and currently in charge of satellite data business in global market.

Kanaka Hidayat is presently a Senior Consultant for BAKTI, an institution under Ministry of ICT to provide rural telecommunication service. Present project includes SATRIA satellite and its backup satellite, HBS.
Kanaka Hidayat’s career in telecommunication started in 1985 in an aggressive technology company: Research and Data Systems Corporation in Maryland, USA which lead him to INTELSAT, as an Engineer in Washington DC, USA, developing its Ground Network.

Sarwoto Atmosutarno, Chairman of Masyarakat Telematika Indonesia (MASTEL), is a highly accomplished telecommunications industry leader. Born on October 2, 1957, in Solo, Sarwoto holds a Master’s degree in Business Engineering in Telecommunications from Telecom Bretagne, France, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Airlangga University. With extensive experience in the field, he has held influential positions including President Director/CEO of PT Telkomsel and Head of Infrastructure Division at PT Telkom. Agustan has an expertise in surveying and mapping especially radar image data processing. His formal education: Geodetic Engineering at ITB, Master of Science from Curtin University – Western Australia, and Doctor of Science from Nagoya University – Japan. H.ZULFADLY SYAM,SKOM [BANG ZUL]

Experienced Marketing, Branding and Corporate Access professional with extensive global financial sector exposure. At Daiwa Capital Markets, originated fundraising road shows, organised and hosted various corporate access initiatives. Prior to that, at Lehman Brothers, developed marketing solutions and worked as a strategic advisor to the business heads to increase revenue. Nurtured marketing and branding experiences at McCann-Erickon, Saatchi&Saatchi and Bartle Bogle Hegarty. Contributed in planning and executing integrated marketing communications to build Brand Equity for iconic brands, including P&G, Adidas, Levi’s, Unilever and Virgin Atlantic. Participated in Axelspace in August 2017 and serves as a Brand Manager.

Bambang Setia Nugroho

Bambang Setia Nugroho is presently a Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Telkom University, Indonesia. Currently, he is also entrusted as chairman of the IEEE Communication Society.

He has over 12 years of experience as a consultant for some clients, such as PT. TELKOM, Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology, and Ministry of Communication and Informatics. He has also been a training instructor in PT INDOSAT, ZTE-STT Telkom Asia Pacific R&D and Training Center, and PT Nexwave.

Bambang earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering at the Institute of Technology Bandung in 1999 and 2004. In 2015, he received a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Indonesia.

Dr.-Ing. Wahyudi Hasbi

Dr.-Ing. Wahyudi Hasbi is the Chair of Indonesian Satellite Society with expertise in satellite technology and computer science. He is currently the Head of the Research Center of Satellite Technology at the National Research & Innovation Agency in Indonesia and also as Director for International Amateur Radio Union Asia Pacific. He is past Chair of IEEE Indonesia and senior member of multiple professional organizations including the IEEE, AIAA, and the Japan Geoscience Union. He has received several awards for his outstanding performance and dedication to satellite design and development. He has published numerous publications & given lectures on satellite technology.”

Muharzi Hasril

Mr. Muharzi Hasril, Indonesian citizen. Born in Jakarta in 1972. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in telecommunications from the National Institute of Science & Technology (ISTN) Jakarta in 1996. He started his career as a Regulatory Staff at a satellite company PT Media Citra Indostar (MCI) in 1997. In 2004 – 2018, he continued his professional journey at PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (MSKY) as Head of Regulatory Affairs & Corporate Support and then as a Corporate Secretary. Afterwards, he served as Division Head of Corporate Affairs at PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) until now.

Throughout his career, he has been actively managing various associations. He served as the founder of the Indonesian Satellite Association (ASSI) in 1998 and the Head of Regulation and Policy of ASSI until 2017. In addition, he also held another position as Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Telematics Society (Mastel) in 2011-2014. Moreover, he held a role in the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) as Deputy Head of Broadcasting. Since 2016, he has also been listed as Secretary General of the Association of Indonesian Multimedia Providers (APMI). And in November 2021, he was appointed as Secretary General
of the Association of Telecommunication Network Providers (APJATEL).
